omygod i made a minahmotor angry at geylang just now. read below.

feels weird to be in uni ar. even aft 3weeks. as in, i was happily JUST getting used to jc life and poof now in NUS. but it's pretty cool, and not to mention knowing sooo many ppl :D exciting. most of them are frm the camp i went, just that we all started talking/got closer aft that. tho i must admit that since we dont have a class all teh time, just tutorial groups and all there's no proper 'friend-making' la. so i must speak more and talk more and make more friends!
so anw, FRIDAY IS MY FREE DAY. and yest (fri) i totally went outta the house to go to orchard w my mum. and today (saturday) i went to the hariraya geylang bazaar with my parents. like, ive locked myself up at home over the weekends for 3 weeks i so deserved to go out i felt like my brain was gonna burst. atfirst uni was like a culture chock. then it was like a milder culture shock. then now it SHOULD be getting better ahha. i see so many ppl i know in FASS la, like a mini kampung.

planning what to wear is a chore.

oh lemme tell u. thur right im supp to have 10-12pm polsci lect, 2-3pm hist tut, 4-6pm malaystudies lect. this wk wk3 is supp to be the first wk of tuts but the hist tut got cancelled so i had 4hrs to catch up on readings. but guess what.
i became like the maritime port in the malay studies readings. like penang or singapore or sth, cos ppl came and went :D
i was there frm 12-4 la basically. at first farhana nisha(gummie your friend!) syazana irna adilah were there with me. then nisha syaz and farhana went off. then irna adilah went off so i was alone :( THEN hamzah came, talked abit. then went off so i was alone agn :( THEN aisyah msged me asking where i was i was so happy :) so it was the 2 of us. THEN madhiah farahin syikeen came! but they went off for awhile. then walid came talked talked talked then M F S came back! (: then walid went off. then M F S went off first then it was me and aisyah. THEN luqman came! haha see i told u, i was teh only static being at that table for 4 hrs. and i think i wasted 2 hrs gossiping. and i was fasting ar. shdnt gossip. but i found out so much HAHA.

i really need to catch up on the readings la. like, everyth's okay when wk 4 comes i read wk4's work. but it's really ALOT and wk1's stuff, (u know, when we were still blur) i have 2 sets of notes to read or so. surprisingly i dont have that many tutorials, cos most of my tutorials are called DISCUSSION GROUPS or theyre odd/even weeks. discussion grps are like GP discussions so u just prepare the topic beforehand.
and since its the fasting mth right, there are so many iftars, as in sessions to break fast tgt. on tues i went for PBMUKS one that was good i had a v gd time(: this coming fri there's the MS one. just hope i wont end up home late agn cos if not my dad will scold me agn haiz. thats the prob when u live on the other side of the island and somehow aft 6pm the journey back home takes alm 2hrs cos of the slowwwww buses.

i went to the bazaar at geylang just now. when i went there i rmbd bringing polly there 2yrs ago haha we went aft sch! anw, the place was crowded right. then u really have to try to manouvre your way carefully cos if not ud bump into ppl.

so tdy for the first time in my life i angered this minah motor. and it wasnt even my fault. her helmet la for her head so big right not my fault she needs such a big helmet hahhahah so mean but im ANGRY. hahahahah! we were crossing the traffic light then it was crowded (duh.) so i was trying to get to the otherside as fast as possible. minahmotor was taking her own sweet time walking with her matmotor and like holding her helmetmotor and walking like she was window shopping. HELLO YOU'RE CROSSING THE ROAD THE GREEN MAN'S BLINKING WALK FASTER LA! so i went to cut infront of her cos there was this HUGE space infront of her. not cut even, just walked in front faster. then i think my kinda bag hit her big helmetmotor then she angry la she F*** S***SI** whatever vulgar vocab she had in her, it came out. i felt like, like, like STEPPING her foot or sth. so irritating. then in her LOUD BOOMING EVEN-PEOPLE-IN-JOHOR-CAN-HEAR kinda voice she went like:

so it was firstday of sch all over again. like, in my brain i cant believe im in uni alr la my mind's like a kid i behave like a kid BUT my new sch yr's resolution is to act normal and be abittt more mature haha but can codeswitch to be kiddy heehee like with clique.

so old. dang. i think id miss normal sch very soon. i just hope that i wont cry at the end of the first week of sch agn like in j1 haha cos i hated sch at that point in time. no proper friends new env new everyth. for some reson i think i wld u know.

and i was tired frm johor.

when i came home tdy i was so tired. so i treated myself to bubbletea on teh way home. what the toot la i dunno how im gna survive pasir ris-clementi for so many days i thought i was going outta my mind just now. then when i came home (my dad had off day today so he was home) my parents were in their room and they so happily asked me how my firstday was. i like it when my parents ask me. cos theyre very excited abt uni and all, like how they were excited abt vj, like how they were excited abt tkgs. like the feeling's very nice(: then i was reminded of like, my firstday in P1, my firstday in tkgs, firstday in vj, now firstday in nus. cos they wld alw happily ask me, and on every single firstday id have the tired look on my face. i think that's what u'll miss the most if u stay in hall or sth, cos u'd miss home, and ur family and all these. i mean hall IS convenient, but it's simple things like this that will tell me id rather travel to and fro than being away from them. PLUS u get to eat ur mum's cooking ar NOTHING CAN BEAT THAT.

and it has been a TREND, that a few days aft that i'd fall sick. prps tkgs vj it happened. let's see if im sick this time ar. hopefully not.

ohh i miss clique so much. when i went into lecture just now i was like, this feels different aha. cos usually its polly or charrie or gummie sitting on either sides of me, and lilin wld be there with me for chem tutorials and we'd all be there for all tutorials.

so all in all, first day of sch was okayyyyyy la. first time i saw so may ppl in NUS. cos the past few times it was empty since it was the hols. it was like, rush hour at cityhall sheesh so many ppl.

atfirst i had no idea what to wear. so i whack wear whatever. til i got to sch and i realised my red top is really very bright ar. eh red goodluck colour u know i wear on the firstday of sch. just wait til i wear my bright blue one, theyd think i came frm outerspace. and not like i wear very pretty also, i see so many ppl wear like going orchard. i felt so loser my jeans so loose my belt buckle was bulging frm under the shirt. urgh. so unglam. times like this, i appreciate the vj uniform.

today i had 2 lectures - geog 12pm by joseftan's goodfriend dr t c chang, and asian history 4pm by a/p tim barnard. the angmoh is damn funny i was laughing and laughing at his jokes haha. dr chang also. atleast firstday i know the profs not boring ar haha. then lastnite, i was wondering HOW i was gonna survive 12pm-4pm ALONE. suddenly ring ring i got a call frm syikeen my new friend(: it turned out she had the same 2 lects with me tdy i was screaming into the phone when i found out. cos i wldnt be alone for my firstday of sch! i was alr thinking u know, if im alone id go to some corner in BK at the fass canteen and stone there for 2hrs til the nxt lect.

i just finished printing notes and syllabus and all. i saw microeconomics ohgoodness PPC curve and scarcity and opportunity cost and all. i reckon there are topics i hated which are coming out.what have i gotten myself into? hahahaha OKAY DIY MUST STUDY NO PLAYING. must dig up vj notes til the real ones come in. this is so so scary.

wednesday (tmr) im supp to have nth on it's my free day. and suddenly they sent an email saying there's a makeup econs lect for the nationalday hols AT 6-8PM TMR goodness so late. and im going for that lect alone somemore haiz. must make friends ar, cos i realised class participation for tutorials 20%. so i must talk alot. but like, i havent met many ppl yet also hahah. tmr ppl going home frm work im gg to clementi to go to sch. but not bad ar, cos acty there's an ilsa tari welcome tea tmr 6pm-9pm im missing the first 2hrs then joining them at 8plus haha IM GOING WITH SAFIRAH! :D happy u know, i got friend for the welcome tea also.

okay so fine. maybe the next few days in sch wldnt be so bad. i better sleep now since it's late and i can wake up any time tmr since lect's so late. i just hope id look better on the other days in sch. and not like a walking red blob. yea man 5 modules(: finally i can relax! CRIMINALMINDS TIME in 12mins! see that?! :D

i didnt get my SS that i bid for (obviously) so i have to pick sth else to replace it. i was planning on taking a 4th exp mod in sem2, the sociology one (cos apparently, it goes for 1point!) but all the plans dunno what happen and now, im bidding for a 4th exp mod in econs! acty quite cool ar, like going back to my roots. HAH. so in 2nd sem, i'll take a 5th exposure mod and thats enough exposing for me haha. most just take 4, dunno how i'll end up with 5. SS's fault la grr. but maybe in another turn of events, maybe i wont even take the soci mod if i know pol sci is what id declare. mayb even pol sci and econs WOW i nvr evn thought of that haha. okay so mayb it's not such a bad thing aft all. i mean, econs was nice right? (macroeconomics more like it.) haha(:

i got my GEM tho, that geog one. 159points what the toot right. so now its pol sci, history, malaystudies, geog GEM. let today be a good day let me have my econs module please please please.

so i went to bid just now, round2B. and i saw the stuff there for econs, highest bidpoint: 0, lowest bidpoint: 0, no of bidders: 0. i was the first la! i dont even think itll fill up the quota of 33 ppl? hope so la, so that itll only go for 1point and id only spend 53points for 4modules :D :D :D

saturday was SG9's outing! andrew jeremy chuan wensi amanda melissa me. 7ppl only but fun fun fun!(: we talked alot and laughed alot! i found out that melissa is in FASS too! jeremy got into NUS medicine (wow right!) so he's outta ns and into nus! so the 3 of us wld probably see each other around in sch :D :D :D andrew has a place in nus also,double major in maths and comp science but he's only coming in in 2yrs. chuan also! he said he might try for FASS cos he didnt apply for uni this yr so he'll apply nxt yr! wanna do psychology. amanda is in her last sem at SIM so fast! and wensi is in sg, on break frm her uni of bristol law course. not bad ar sg9 we're seriously moving on. i have a future doctor and lawyer and mathematician as friends in sg9. and uhh, too many FASS ppl hahah cos we're just too FASSinating. and all of us were crazily playing games at minds and pictures and kopitiam! haha very nice to talk to them(: talked quite abit to jeremy melissa and andrew tho, since we'd all be in nus so we were talking and talking abt sch. oh fun times. i love sg9. ooh can see joyjoy also in FASS but she'd be a yr older!


sch'd finally starting la. new sem 09/10 starts TODAY haha but alotta us skipped inauguration day since they didnt bother telling us the proper details, i assume only those gg for Oweek wld go for it. and i didnt sign up for Oweek, so sch only starts nxt tues for me! same as the NTU ppl haha gummie polly and rennie. OHYA. i got all the modules i bid for yay right! exciting.
SO its intro to politics(!yayness!), malay studies, history of asia and the modern world. today we had to bid for GEM and SS. i see the highest bid for singapore society, 2457credits or sth aiyoh. i bet the guy is yr4 or sth. cos yr1s only have a max of 400! what the toot right. then 350++places, 455ppl bidding. so i think maybe cannot get ar. my geog GEM also, just hope that one can get la. please please please. cos if not, id be left with just 3modules the whole of sem1!
