met janice at 430 at cityhall, met joy joy at ard 530,bought merci chocs for wensi, had a cheeseburger, then made our way to buona vista :)

i didnt talk much on the way there cos i needed the toilet and i was trying to hold. HAH. then we saw shawn first going down the escalator, but we still went to the toilet anw. so TOILET BREAK!

then we went back up and we saw shawn with jeremy hema and wensi. haiz hema straightened her hair! haha the guys, they looked the same i guess haha.

so we took 92 and alighted 4 stops aft, then walked to no. 12! OMG SO HUGE/PRETTY! like a palace! haha, and the company was great too! started off pretty awkward acty, cos the guys were like by themselves, then the girls were by ourselves. hmmmm.

then melissa came haha more girl power!! then andrew came (frm sch) and he brought his rubik's cubes along so we all had a 'pattern' lesson for awhile, among the nonsense and crapping that came outta of mouths haha. had canadian pizza and chips! and coke and sprite! so we played daidee, then the rest played bridge, and me melissa and hema cldnt be bothered to learn the game. then had indian poker!! and i had the smallest card so had to do a forfeit right?? my forfeit was ...

to eat another slice of pizza.

sounds mediocre but believe me i was super full i wanted to burst. so ya, it was a bad forfeit. then jeremy was 'cursed' to keep getting A or 2, so he kept having to do the forfeit!! haha its like one aft another A 2 A 2 A 2 aiyoh. if he played daidee he wld have won.
then we all walked out to pick john up. haha long time no see!! the walk out was fun! altho i think andrew was too high frm all the fun or sth he was talking too much nonsense. acty everyone was too high HAHA. esp joyjoy and janice. sheesh I WAS LIKE TAKING CARE OF BOTH OF YOU HAHAHAHHA.
then we went inside and played truth or dare HAHA I MANAGED TO NOT BE TRUTH-ED OR DARED!! yay they didnt have to squeeze anyth outta me!! haha but some of the dares were extreme la, like screaming in the direction of the house of someone very impt in the middle of the nite. there were more haha but let's not burst the bubble shall we?

then there was the question that andrew had to ask HAHA. will you? would you? omg they cldnt be anymore straightforward can they?? i was like " YOU MUST LA!" hahhahahahha. then the dare that he did, sheesh i missed it la, was yawning then my eyes were closed then i didnt see!!! hehe i was joking that he shd do it agn cos of that heehee. then janice had that population qn, the qn so geog-ish. and who else did she pick. so ar, unavailable. HAHA. and i know the secret :)

oh ya we prank called one of the slo-s, HAHA his reaction ar super!! who asked him not to come??
then when i reached home, i got prank called by someone sheesh. i think he was with the others cos i heard them laughing in the backgrd. like hello?? he called me when i just reached home like at 1230 and was sleepy and blur. and if he thinks that he got the fun frm prank calling me, he didnt know that SG9 (a.k.a the best SG in pre u sem 2007 ever) also prank called ppl. and we got the fun frm it. whatever. i somehow think that some ppl think that others cant have fun. and i know im not the only one who thinks this way. but its pretty ironic that i got prank called on the same night right aft the party hah.

and that john, made me ask 3 ppl for him for that girl's no cos he forgot to ask her. sheesh. and everytime i ask they think that he wants to get to know her HAH. pls.

attn: he wants it cos theyre going for the one life volunteering thingy and she happens to be in KI also. that's all!

may i just add that the GIRLS were super pretty! omg can see the girls in make up! LIKE DUH, GIRLS ARE PRETTY CAN!! and we looked so different frm when we were at pre u sem ok, so formal and rigid. haha but i like wearing the blazer. and joy joy ar, prom pics so pretty!! take out braces somemore more prettier! janice is very tall -.-' haha, but janice also very pretty ar!! wear blusher some more. and uh, the guys are very ... umm .. shuai?? HAHHAHA ok la they looked good too :D they looked smart. but the girls looked better hehe :P

haha, and yes janice! we must meet up as an SG again! and think of where to get those I LOVE SG shirts haha. eh we propose to organise another one la. like, soon. HAHA can ask andrew to organise for valentine's!! then someone shd be super excited right??

i guess ppl wld accept it better if the $$ was channeled directly to benefit some ppl and monitored tightly by the authorities, and not go beat ard the bush where its kinda passed down the line, ultimately some wld alr get part of that amt. defeats the purpose of helping the ppl man.

BUT WHERE GOT FAIR??u all untung leh. last time prata kosong 60cents (hello, pri sch can buy 1 plate nasi lemak alr), now 80cents. prata telur $1.20. that time, i saw CHEESE prata - all time high price $2.50!!! like this, i think i go po-kai alr. say byebye to fast food la. last time, value meal $5 +. now where got fair $7+!!! pri sch can buy 14 plates nasi lemak orhhhh. i read the shop holder the hand, i see ar, future, we all eat high class prata, high class nasi lemak, high class everything. grade A flour grade A egg, wah!!! so exciting.
sheesh.

the increase in taxi fares also. haizzzzzz. no wonder its the norm for ppl to go on the ppr chase. at least it secures you with the $$ to buy nice pratas and ride blue cars. but still, i think the cost of living is alr too much - increase somemore and you'll push more ppl out of the country, those who are turned off.

that's why, $$ makes the world go round.

im having diarrhoea i think, and headaches and stuff eversince yesterday. hmmm that ushering duty. for band.

i think there was sth wrong with the food, cos the ct ppl had diarrhoea too, and those who ushered of course. so yea, confirmed - it's the food.

some of us needed halal food, and i didnt wanna eat mine actually. i mean, can you imagine eating chicken's heart and lady's fingers with rice which was soaked in oil from the gravy? i ate like a little of it cos i thought it was beef. boy was i wrong. then i felt queasy la. then apparently the reception that the sch ordered had some prob also, i mean if the rest had diarrhoea too that means that it wasnt the heart + lady's fingers, must be the eclairs or the sandwiches or muffins. HAHAH just imagine the guests they invited, they shd have diarrhoea too :X

anw, i thought that last night's event was fun, ushering the band concert, though ct was in charge of traffic and half the time i was stoning cos they plonked me to guard the PT foyer by myself, and those taxis cant listen to instructions when we tell them to move AROUND the fountain and not stop aft the zebra crossing. sheesh.

but i was still high from cambodia i think HAH so i was talking and laughing, esp to fiona juanzhen and xianglin,and i think that i may have hit it off with some of them, cos some actually talked to me la, and said bye haha. they really dunno how much that meant to me :))

then just now, we had the O1 briefing, where we got to know all our duties and stuff. and the councillors all have to be station masters and ushers haha so fun. im looking forward to O1 really, so far the planning and stuff, whatever they told us of our duties sounds fun. tues i have this briefing for sea regatta cos ct is i/c of that, so i'll have another duty then i think haha. let it be known to those who need to know:

2) station master - wet games. let's not leak anything ok? cos i know SOME PPL WHO ARE OGLs ARE DYING TO KNOW THE GAMES HAH!the games sounds fun. let's just say that, as the game master for my station, i am at risk of getting food poisoning from the game and the freshmen who may/may not practise good hygiene.

then there's the sea regatta thing which i know nothing of yet hah.

and i think this orientation is much more organised than the prev yr's, cos theyre changing alot of how it being runned, like the registration and stuff.

yep, let me try to do sth else now.

the trip actually passed by very fast. and cos diy was overly fatigued due to the trip, she is only updating abt cambodia 2days aft setting her feet back in singapore. hah.

what else can i say? i ENJOYED every second of cambodia. every single one was enriching, fulfilling, educational and really opened my eyes to what was the true meaning of the reality in which we live in. i mean, there are other ppl in the world living too, you dont owe them a living, yet you complain abt how insufficient everything is when they are living a life worse off than yours. compare yourself and them and you'll find vast parallels. contrast is eminent, but you wont find any basis at all in which you can debate abt the extent to which you are at a disadvantage.

i guess the only low in the whole trip was the 2nd day/night, which i wont elaborate further cos i'd rather keep some things to myself, but whoever who went on the trip would know. whatever it is, at least the situation became better and i found myself comfortable in the company of the rest. thanks for making the effort :)

all i can say is that i felt the $$ paid for the trip was totally worth it, cos i know i wldnt even get out of singapore or malaysia if i forgo the trip, since i think my daddy's a big fan of malaysia hurhur. at least i took a PLANE, and i got to see another COUNTRY. and i got to help those MORE UNFORTUNATE THAN ME. period.

ooh the plane ride was so COOL ok. the coolest thing besides cows and spongebob and green/pink/yellow!/orange/purple!/gold and thrill rides at themeparks that try to make you scared and ppl who laugh at my lameness and try to be lame/are alr funny.these are things i like and the plane ride is gonna be on that list.

the departure frm singapore...i was already very nervous abt the plane ride la i mean never fly before the last time was dinosaur years ago then suddenly throw me on a plane then fly WAH SO EXCITING!!! like, the pilot cheat me la, go fast then slow then fast then slow. like hello?? when are we moving?? then i rmb they turned, there was this yellow light. then moved slowly, like snails. then suddenly ZOOM!!
omgOMGomgOMGomgOMGomg.
i felt like i was on a car speeding la, exc that this car was SPEEEEEEEEEEEEDINGGG.

i was so scared la. i havent told this to anyone, but my mind was thinking, i havent hovered in the air before. funny right?dunno why my brain thinks in funny ways.then wanna hover for 2 hrs somemore haha. then can feel the pressure abit, like its pushing against your chest, like those space shuttle shows you see on tv where they cant move much and their cheeks flop open, but this is the tuned down version. then you can feel you know, like you're going straight fast, then lift off and the plane is at an incline and you can see the front of the plane so clearly cos the plane's tilted. then everything becomes smaller on the outside, like the cars and the lights etc etc.
so i cried. i cried cos i was nervous/excited/shocked all rolled into one. steffi hadnt ridden a plane before too! and we were sitting at contrasting ends of the same row of the plane.
like roller coaster ride, but more scary haha. and i like roller coaster rides :)

then i rmbd looking outta the window when we were landing in phnom penh and saw small cars on their roads. i was like 'i'm really here'. truthfully i still cant register that i went to cambodia and back. maybe shock? if they can have culture shock, why not?

and the air in cambodia is definitely cooler than singapore's, tho more dusty. but that's to make up for it.

and i think i like cic. the ppl and all. oh and the 2 sc ppl who came along of course. i think it wld be a whole load different if it was another group, but the funny thing was, i really didnt feel like i wanted to go home. like i can survive another few more days in CAMBODIA with the rest. i wldnt mind staying in my bunk (quite comfortable you know), walking abt bare footed, SQUATTING (cambodian way of life haha). what i mean is that theirs is a simplistic way of life, where the children really take joy and pleasure in whatever they do, and they really show their gratitude and appreciation when you come which gives you this sense that, yes, this is what im here for, im giving them some more meaning to further colour their lives. i really dont mind staying there longer at all. but of course once i came home all those thoughts vanished cos i saw the other wonders of the world a.k.a TV FOOD SHOPPING CENTRES R-PAPERS.
cos from then on i had other things to think abt.

but nevermind, let's all be hyper and high. so this is what happened.

these were the main activities, and when i read the itinerary i was like, ok, there's not much fun in that.

til we reached there and there was like activities EVERY SINGLE NIGHT OMG.
they had disco night la! danced frm aft dinner til 10plus omg. i was nvr so tired in my life.they listen to hindi songs la pls. and dance dance dance. another night they had movie night and watched the bridge to terrabithia. touching story, but cld have a nicer plot tho, like develop the story further instead of just stopping there. then there was a night when the kids approached agung to teach english and apparently it wasnt allowed cos we had to ask for PERMISSION. haha his re-enactment of THE OM was funnyyyyy!! really, i thought he was a serious straight-faced person haha, til the trip.funny guy with the pink mosquito net :P
and jiahao was nice too! i mean, the 2 of them can really mix ard with ppl well, jiahao even lent me his geog notes to read la. and he was funny also haha, tho he hurt his leg. i realised all 3 guys hurt themselves sheesh.
and chin hao really tried to make everything ok and well, i think he really wanted the trip to mean alot to all of us.
and there were the 2 aunties, wah they really made the trip like a holiday la, they treated everyone all the time! and they taught me how to play the fishing game :) i like.
but i still dont get bridge. jiahao chinhao and gummie had a gd time laughing at me la. hahah i was like a fool putting all the wrong cards. nvm la i think they gave up trying to teach me heh.
and yes, the girls also made all of us at ease, and i felt that i can talk to them, it wasnt as tho there was sth holding us back, it was just cos we havent really talked together before thats all. and i really appreciate everything theyve done to make the trip enjoyable :)

ooh and there was the cockroach problem :D

our dorm was infested with roaches la, so apparently some of them were terrified with cockroaches (ahem ahem... where are the males?? haha) but the guys became braver aft awhile. so it became 3guys + me catching roaches. and it was like, the 5th day when we found the source of all the roaches! we were chasing this roach ard the room then it went behind the shelves and it scooted to this shelf behind the door. then i think agung and i were sticking our heads behind the thing then we saw the whole nest of cockroaches then according to them we jumped backwards like funnily la cos everyone was laughing so loudly til THE MOTHER came and was like nyeh nyeh nyeh. sheesh.hehe but i liked catching the roaches :D it helps when you go ard tormenting cockroaches when you were younger :D

and last but not least,my dear gummie whom i spent 9days with at cambodia :)) hehe.
quite fun you know cambodia. ok i slept below and gummie slept on top THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SLEEPING ON TOP COS I'D FALL DOWN AND KNOCK MY HEAD AND IT DIDNT HELP THAT I KNOCKED MY HEAD ON THE LAST NIGHT AND AM STILL DELIRIOUS TIL NOW.really need to find out if they have insurance for laughter. and gummie felt abit sick but nvm that aftnn we slept, at least we had rest. i slept for an hr.
then i rmb aft we bathed then we stepped outta the toilet and just looked up at the sky.

the stars are pretty la. like crystals on velvet. looks fake but its real. like those exagerated paintings, but i saw it first hand.omg pretty.
then the last night we woke up at 3 to watch the meteor shower supposedly, but me and gummie were too sleepy we just went back to sleep, plus it was freezing outside, like 5degrees or sth.

then we prepared this dance for the kids and me gummie chinhao were like doing 'i want you' in the van on the way to the village again and again haha so funny i was high for like 2-3 days omg. i think it was triggered off by disco night. then the dancw as quite a disaster cos all of us forgot our steps and all ahaha but nvm, then aft that we went to watch this cambodian movie WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND AT ALL omg i thought the 2 guys were gays or sth but they wre acty childhood freinds who were going their separate ways. now i see why they HUGGED.

and there was NOT ENOUGH TIME SHOPPING IM SO ANGRY I WANNA RESURRECT ALL THE COCKROACHES AND GECKOS I THREW AWAY AND THROW THEM AT OM COS... HALF DAY SHOPPING NOT ENOUGH!!!!

and to end it all off, our flight was delayed by 3 hrs. supposed to get the plane home at 840 BUT they delayed it til 1145 AT NIGHT omg. so we camped at the airport outside where we ate then just played, i sat with my elephant and played cards (that was when they laughed at my foolishness for not knowing how to play bridge!). then daylight saving time all that, we reached singapore at 3 la. haha. but aft that everyone ended up staying at the airport to eat macs then we left at 6 :))
and i love my room even more now, rubbish and all <33>HARRASSED!

i alr sensed sth wrong with the guy alr while queueing up like got the gut feeling. he was like, what, 2 000 000 yrs old?!

i gave him my passport, then he smiled like siao la. then i show him one face like i dont like alr. like my i-dont-like face, ya thats the one i showed him. then he smile eeyer so ugly his face, old cheekopek. i bet he got syndicate like the smile at ppl then lure them to his trap that kind but HELLO YOU'RE TALKING TO THE KACHUAK QUEEN HERE no roack or cheekopek can fool me.
they had this thing where they had to take ur pic when departing, so it went like this. he smile smile, i show him my face. then he took EONS to scan my passport, he turned to the page where i got my passport pic there. then stare at the pic eeyer so sick that pervertic toot. come on la, if he was younger, better-looking and didnt exist i may not mind that happening, which means i want any other person BUT HIM to stare at that ugly photo if it was such a necessity.

then he said,
"come smile, smile..." (in the pervertic tone)
i showed him the exact same face and looked into the camera i dint care how i look cos if he had a way to extract my pic frm the system at least i knew i looked horrid enough to haunt him cos i hated what he was doing.
